Track & Field and Cross Country: Coaches
![]() Jenny Bellsky | Jenny Bellsky enters for her third year at Saginaw Valley State, she was promoted to interim head coach for both men's and women's cross country and track & field teams on September 21, 2009. Bellsky's main responsibilities also include meet management and coaching the distance, middle distance, long sprinter, and long hurdler athletes. During her first two years of coaching, she has had the opportunity to coach three All-Americans. Bellsky is an alum of SVSU where she competed from 2002-06 on SVSU's cross-country and track & field teams. She served as captain of both cross-country and track & field teams. She was also a member of the GLIAC All-Academic team. Bellsky graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and earned her Masters of Business Administration degree in accounting. Bellsky is a native of Frankenmuth, Michigan. |
![]() Ed Skrelunas 4th Year | Ed Skrelunas has joined the SVSU coaching staff for the current season after retiring as principal of Clio High School. Skrelunas has served as head coach for track & field and cross country at Bridgeport High School, Warren Lincoln High School, Freeland High School and Clio High School. From 1977-83 he served as a part-time assistant coach at Saginaw Valley State University. During this time he was involved in recruiting and coaching over 40 student-athletes who earned All-American honors in NAIA. The track and cross country teams gained national recognition during this time winning the NAIA National Indoor Track Championship in 1982 and 1983. Skrelunas earned a bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University and a master's degree from Michigan State University. Skrelunas resides in Saginaw. |
