Cardinals Sneak Past Warriors

Rochester, Mich.- The Cardinals earned a non-conference win in a 5-4 dual with Rochester College on Thursday. SVSU used the bats of T.J. Lehnertz (Grand Rapids/Catholic Central) (2-for-4) and Sean Odamura (Mississauga, Ont.) (2-run HR) to provide the offense.
     Adam Campbell (London, Ont.) started his first game of the season for the Cards. Toby Larkin (Bridgeport) picked- up his team-leading sixth win in relief of Campbell with Joe Kramer (Linden) garnering his team-leading fourth save. The Cards are now 13-2 against non-conference foes.
     Saginaw Valley will host Hillsdale College for a four-game set beginning on Saturday, April 27 at 1:00 pm.
