SVSU Pulls Out
Win Over Alma

UNIVERSITY CENTER - The Saginaw Valley State University
baseball team defeated the Scots of Alma today by the score of
14-12.
Sophomore Mike McGinnis (Monroe) received the win
for the Cardinals.
Even though they gave up seventeen hits in the game
to Alma the Cardinals were able to get their 10 hits when they
needed them.
Again the star of the game was Adam Ruffner who
hit a home run, went two for four at the plate and earned five
rbi's in the game.
SVSU improves their record to 37-11 overall and
23-6 in the GLIAC.
The Cardinals next game will be Saturday May 12th
when they will travel to Rochester College. Game time is slated
for 1:00p.m.
