SAAC Events
Adopt-a-Team
SAAC members arranged a schedule of fall athletic events and assigned teams to attend the games and/or matches. This program is one which will increase camaraderie among student-athletes and increase support among SVSU athletic teams for the present and future.
East Side Soup Kitchen
On November 22nd, 8-10 SAAC members worked at the East Side Soup Kitchen for several hours. The students served food and distributed knit hats to those who came through the line. The knit hats were purchased through a grant from the GLIAC which was specifically intended for community service projects.
Christmas Wish List
Similar to last year, the student-athletes will be sponsoring at least one family over the holidays. Each student-athlete donates a dollar to the cause. The dollars generated are then spent on gifts and food. Then the SAAC members purchase, wrap, and deliver the gifts before Christmas.
