If you are a prospective-student athlete who will be participating in a tryout on the SVSU campus, there are some things you will need to know.

1. You are permitted to attend only one tryout at SVSU
2. Only high school seniors who are in a term other than the term that your high school season occurs or who have exhausted your high school eligibility can participate in the tryout.
3. If you are a two-year college student, you can tryout once your season has ended or once you have exhausted your two-year college eligibility.
4. If you are a four-year college student, you can tryout at the end of your season, provided we have been granted permission to contact you.
5. You will be required to complete the following two forms prior to participation in a tryout.

If you are a currently enrolled student-athlete who will be participating in a tryout on the SVSU campus, there are some things you will need to know.

1. You are permitted to attend only one tryout per sport in any academic year.
2. You must not have been recruited by SVSU (NCAA Bylaw 13.02.10.1)
3. You must be in good academic standing
4. You must be enrolled in 12 credit hours
5. You will be required to complete the following two forms prior to participation in a tryout.
