We all have dreams — some are grand, while others are more practical, but we all have them.
We all have hope — and hope is often generational. In other words, as many generations ago as anyone of us can recall, parents have always hoped that their childrens’ lives would be better than their own — hope for better jobs, better opportunities, better education.
In our lives, we all seek support of some kind — whether it’s emotional, personal, directional or financial.
There is probably no face that better represents this picture of dreams, hope and support than that of a student-athlete: students who work hard and play harder, and who know that no matter what happens in their lives many years hence, they have had the privilege of competing in college sports.
There is no better way to support the SVSU student-athlete than the Cardinal Club. The Cardinal Club’s purpose is to provide scholarship aid and operational support to deserving young men and women who seek a quality education while participating on intercollegiate teams at SVSU. And the primary benefit of membership is the satisfaction that comes from supporting our student-athletes. For sure, there are other great benefits, like the camaraderie that is shared by other enthusiastic supporters of Cardinal athletics, either at games, banquets and other hospitality events, but the bottom line is that you are helping to make a difference in the life of a young person with dreams and hopes of a promising tomorrow.
