UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – Saginaw Valley State University invites all area children to attend their upcoming football game at noon, Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008, against the Tiffin University Dragons. Children have the opportunity to experience a college football game as the Cardinals hosts NCAA Football’s eleventh annual “Take A Kid to the Game” (TAKG) program presented by Coca-Cola and sponsored by other Corporate Champions, AT&T and Pontiac. Walker Nets Hat Trick in 5-1 Victory Brent Walker

UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – The Saginaw Valley State University men’s soccer team broke out of a five game winless skid in an offensive explosion against Davenport University today (Oct. 8) 5-1.  The Cardinal produced more then three goals in a game all season, but managed to find the back of the net on five different occasions against the Panthers. GLIAC Golf LogoGolf Finishes Fourth at Championships

BAY CITY, Mich - The SVSU men’s golf team held a one shot edge going into the final round of the 2008 Men’s GLIAC Tournament, but cooled off during round three as they shot a third round total of six over par to finish the tournament with a combined score of 870, six back of winning school Grand Valley State. The top five teams in the Championships broke the GLIAC scoring record for the three day tournament of 873.. [Results] [more»]
