March 19th - April 13th, 2018
Reception: Thursday, March 22nd 4 - 7pm
For some, the creative process starts at a very young age but truly doesn't come into fruition until the high school years. The Art Department at SVSU strongly supports this stage of creative development by high school students. This exhibition honors and celebrates the great creative work being done through the efforts of high school teachers and their students. The exhibition consists of works created in a variety of different mediums including photography, painting, ceramics, mixed media and drawings.
This exhibition features student artwork from the following: H. H. Dow High School, Swan Valley High School, Freeland High School, Midland High School, Tuscola Technology Center, Heritage High School and Hemlock High School.
All gallery exhibitions, lectures and receptions are free and open to the public. Click the following link for open gallery hours or call (989) 964-2291. The University Art Gallery is located in the Arbury Fine Arts Center on the campus of Saginaw Valley State University, svsu.edu/visit/campusmaps.
