![]() | August 25 - September 19, 2009 SVSU ART FACULTY EXHIBITION The Faculty Show includes work in all the major disciplines we offer at SVSU- photography, graphic design, drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture, & digital media are all well represented. There are works from 14 different full and part-time members of the art faculty. Shaun Bangert, Tom Canale, Sara Clark, Barron Hirsch, Blake Johnson, Hideki Kihata, Mike Mosher, Matthew Zivich, Andrea Ondish, Terry Basmadjian, Sanford Buchalter, Phil Hanson, Dave Littell, Gary Rocha. | No photos currently available | January 11 - February 8, 2010 This exhibit entitled "For a Cleaner Environment" and "Prints, Politics & Democracy" is a traveling exhibition obtained through the American Print Alliance. This traveling exhibition shows how prints express the rights and responsibilities of democracy and inspire people to defend freedoms, serve in elected office, vote, demonstrate and take part in political life. The exhibition itself demonstrates that prints can be an influential part of the democratic process. First shown during our 2008 Print Dialogue Days in Atlanta, the exhibit will travel for two to three years.

An artist, theorist, and historian, Miner is interested in using art as a mode of anti-colonial and anti-capitalist resistance. She incorporates the use of drawing, painting, fiber, sculpture and photography into her work.
