"I am an alumni of Saginaw Valley State University, and the degrees I earned, the experiences I had and the relationships I made have been invaluable resources throughout my life. I considered it a privilege to attend SVSU and the two degrees I received have always been a true source of pride and accomplishment for me. While attending SVSU I lived on campus and was a work study in the Information Services Department. These opportunities allowed me to become deeply ingrained in the SVSU culture. I know everything that makes SVSU the first class University that it is as I have experienced most of it first hand. With this experience and my pride and passion for the University I would relish the opportunity to tell the SVSU story, effectively utilizing the wealth of modern media resources to both internally and externally promote a broader awareness of SVSU and all of the innate qualities that make SVSU the jewel that it truly is."
