A strong alumni association is vital to the future of our university. Whether you graduated in 1967 or 2007, you are a stakeholder of Saginaw Valley State University. The SVSU Alumni Association supports alumni and students with scholarships, career planning and placement, and an increasingly broader range of programs and events. Alumni Family Fun Day - 2008
The SVSU Alumni Association hosted the 2008 Alumni Family Fun Day where more than 100 youths participated in free soccer clinics and alumni enjoyed a lunch. Congratulations to Alumni Association member, Jim Freier of Reese, who won six (6) free tickets to a Saginaw Spirit game.
Get Involved
The SVSU Alumni Association welcomes alumni volunteers to become involved by donating their time and talent. Together, our efforts will enable the SVSU Alumni Association to continue its mission of engaging our graduates and students in a mutually beneficial relationship with the University and to promote loyalty and support among our alumni.
Ways You Can Help:
- Participate in the planning and implementation of Alumni events
- Greet and usher graduates at Commencement (May, August, December)
- Recruit new members to the Alumni Association
- Nominate alumni for the Distinguished and Outstanding Alumni Awards
- Serve as an Alumni Association Board member
- Send updates for Class Notes
- Become a Corporate Partner
