SVSU Music Scholarships

The Rhea Miller Scholarships in Music are awarded based on an audition and interview to incoming freshmen. The scholarships are awarded for one academic year, and are renewable.
The Patsy Hill Schwartz Scholarship is given to a student who has shown leadership in the Department of Music or has demonstrated high academic achievement in music. The scholarship is renewable.
A Piano Scholarship is awarded by audition to a piano student interested in accompanying. The scholarship is $1,500 per academic year and is renewable.
The Barbara Mitchell Endowed Scholarship in Vocal Music is open to incoming freshmen music and music education majors. The scholarship is awarded for one academic year.
The Marching Band Scholarships have an approximate value of $350.
The Pep Band Scholarships have a value of $200.
