Finance, in the most general sense, is the science of the management of money and other assets. SVSU’s Finance program teaches specialized skills that qualify students for entry level positions in a variety of private and public enterprises.

The program is a total educational experience encompassing course work outside of the department and extracurricular activities that result in a better appreciation of the arts, literature and the sciences, a sense of history and the workings of the social, political and legal institutions that form our global environment.

  • The Boutell Citizen’s Luncheon Program is hosted 2-3 times each year, and students can meet and interact with regional business leaders.

  • The average class size at SVSU is only 24 students, allowing for meaningful interation between faculty and students.
