The goal of the Engineering Technology Management (ETM) program is to add value to the associate’s degree (see Transfer Programs) held by selected degree candidates so that they may perform more effectively in the modern industrial workplace.
Program Objectives
- An increased understanding of modern industrial practices.
- An increased level of skill in leadership and management practices.
- An awareness of good business practices, especially in areas of ethics and technology.
- Communication skills appropriate for the industrial workplace.
Why SVSU?
- The ETM degree builds on previous technical training and adds leadership and management skills.
- Graduates often find employment in production management, technical marketing, technical supply chain management, human resources and quality assurance.
- The average class size at SVSU is only 24 students, allowing for meaningful interaction between faculty and students.
