The Crisis Management & Intervention Center at SVSU offers customized, interactive, computer-simulated crisis management training for law enforcement, human resources and healthcare/emergency medical professionals.

SVSU Crisis Management Intervention Center uses highly specialized training curricula and state-of-the-art computerized realistic, simulation technology, along with professionally produced high-impact, goal-oriented training scenarios to teach professionals to effectively manage the above situations, as well as much more.
The CMIC classroom at Saginaw Valley State University is designed to support many different training needs, with tailored academic and corporate programs for law enforcement/corrections officers, human resources professionals and emergency medicine agencies.
CMIC courses and workshops specialize in how to effectively and safely handle unpredictable situations, such as those involving an active shooter, armed disturbances, burglaries and alarms, domestic violence, emotionally disturbed persons, and vehicle stops.
CMIC has partnered with community agencies to offer continuing education credits for the critical needs facing public and private sector professionals, such as such varied issues as bio-terrorism preparation and reaction time management; as well as deposition preparation, interviewing techniques; and bereavement scenarios.
