Why SVSU?
- The curriculum is noted for the many laboratory and project experiences. Software design and development is taught and integrated throughout the curriculum.
- All students receive personal attention from the instructors, because class sizes are small.

SVSU has twice as many computers per student than the national average.
-
Classes are taught by qualified and experienced faculty members, many of whom hold the highest degrees in their field. No courses are taught by graduate students.
- Students can get involved in the SVSU Chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), a national professional-level organization.
