Walk a Mile in Her Shoes - CJ TEAM

We are putting together a team for the Walk a Mile in Her Shoes Event on April 17th. If you are interested in being a part of Team Criminal Justice and help make a difference, please contact Team Leader Holly Child (hchild@svsu.edu ). Here is a link to the main organization: www.walkamileinhershoes.org and here os a link to the SVSU event: http://www.svsu.edu/healthysvsu/health-education-promotion/sexual-assault/walk-a-mile-in-her-shoes.html Registration: 5:00pm Ryder Center - O'Neill Arena
Walk: Begins at 6:00pm in Ryder Center-O'Neill Arena. Walk will be in doors as well as out doors. Please dress for the weather

Though the event certainly has an element of fun and camaraderie, the purpose is serious. Every 90
seconds, a woman is raped in the U.S. One in six women will be victims of sexual assault. This "Walk"
is a visual way to bring widespread attention to a real crisis in America. And so our hope is that you will
also participate in the "Walk" by putting together a team or walking as an individual. However you
choose to participate, you will know that you are a part of something meaningful and important.

Email Prof. Holly Child for the the registration form, pledge sheet, receipts for donors and agenda of the events on April 17th to join TEAM CJ.
