Where is the Academic Advisement Center?
The Advisement Center is located in Wickes Hall room 117.
Who is my academic advisor?
Our advisors are trained in all curriculums. You will not be assigned a specific advisor, but you can meet with any available advisor. In some cases you will be referred to an academic department or faculty member for additional advising information. Our advisors are available for both appointments and walk-ins. Please see the Advisement Center's homepage for advising hours or call 964-4286 to make an appointment.
When should I meet with and academic advisor?
All students ar encouraged to meet with an advisor, either a faculty advisor or one of our staff members, at least once each semester. Please note that registration periods are extremely busy and students should try to make appointments well before registration begins to avoid longer waiting periods.
What should I bring to an advisement session?
Any questions regarding prerequisites, basic skill requirements, curriculum requirements, general education requirements, graduation requirements, and any other questions or concerns.
When should I apply for graduation?
Students are encouraged to apply for graduation before registering for their final semester. Please consult the Registrar's homepage for graduation requirements.
